This first-rate ex-designer deadstock suit weight fabric islightweight but will provide warmth without bulk.Berry Mix is a finely woven worsted wool fabric as light and drapey as wool challis and in a particularly popular gingham style design.

Colour:

Crushed berry juice tones of blackberry, blueberry and strawberry are cleverly woven alongside a classic monotone palette of black and natural white to form a small-scale gingham check in this wonderfully versatile lightweight cross-seasonal woollen fabric.

Properties:

Berry Mix is woven from a combination of all-wool superfine yarns in a close flat weave, this produces a stable and surprisingly hard-wearing, naturally breathable fabric with a soft and elegant drape quality. Suiting-weight wool fabrics are extremely versatile, more elegant than cotton, less prone to creases and naturally temperature regulating. This fabric will take steam well andpleat crisply to form sharp details. It will also form soft gathers and gentle ruffles- perfect for creating feminine details such as peplums and gored panels.
