TEWSEN Tenugui Scarf SATSU SATSU
Made with Kishu Binchtaninfused rayon fiber
The word Satsu Satsu () evokes the sound of a refreshing breeze light, crisp, and invigorating.
It can also describe someone with a clear, breezy personality.
By naming it Satsu Satsu, TEWSEN adds a touch of charm and playfulness to the word.
The pattern resembles fine vertical stripes that blend effortlessly with any outfit a perfect choice for those new to tenugui scarves or looking for a simple, versatile design.
Using the traditional chusen stencil dyeing technique, this wearable tenugui embodies the artistry and craftsmanship of Japanese dyeing culture.
Developed in collaboration with LOCAL FABRIC, it features an original textile specially created for this series.
Subtle fringes accent the design, while its excellent absorbency makes it both functional and stylish for everyday wear.
The fabric is lightly woven on a vintage shuttle loom with softly textured yarn, creating a light and breathable texture that resists stickiness or dampness.
The rayon threads are blended with Kishu Binchtan charcoal, known for its odor-absorbing properties keeping you comfortable and fresh throughout the day.
Each piece has a slightly different pattern, making every item one of a kind.
