About the Artist

LysaFlower grew up in the 80’s, where she fell deeply, madly in love with pop culture. She also grew up among makers, collectors and by necessityinventors. InevitablyLysa(pronounced Lisa) also becamea designer, maker and if we’re really honest, a collector of all things retro. It was only a matter of time before she started drawing, painting, printing and inventing her own modern sewing and surface pattern designs. Forever curious, and genetically a DIY-er, she’s alwaysitching to learnsomething new. Throughouther work she uses cheeky cheerfulness, with bright, graphic, optimistic colors… whichmight explain why if she had to be a print, she’d be a polkadot (since dots are unassuming and polkas are outrageouslyfun)!
