Description

This versatile pattern is a delight to sew, packed with fun details and perfect as a gift! The wristlet is ideal for quick errands or can be used as a wallet inside a larger bag. The pouch works well as a wallet or for keeping small essentials organisedand its absolutely adorable! The wristlet includes an interior zippered pocket and card slots, while the pouch has a pocket and a single card slot for easy organisation.

Recommended Fabric

For the outer fabric, use canvas (7-9 oz. weight) or a medium-weight cotton or cotton/linen blend. Quilting cotton is recommended for the lining.

Alternatively, you can use dry oilskin or cork for the exterior. If you choose these, skip the medium-weight fusible interfacing on the wristlet and avoid interfacing the exterior fabric pieces. Refer to the cutting instructions for additional details.

• 1/2 yd (46 cm) of fusible woven interfacing (20″/51 cm wide)
• Handbag zipper* for main closure, 12″ (30.5 cm) for wristlet or 8″ (20.3 cm) for pouch
• Wristlet only: 1/4 yd (23 cm) of medium-weight fusible interfacing (44″/1.1 m wide)
• 4″ (10.2 cm) interior zipper
• Wrist strap: 1/2″ (13 mm) wide D-ring
• 1/2″ (13 mm) wide swivel snap
• 1/2″ (13 mm) x 18″ (45.7 cm) leather for strap (optional)
• one 8 mm rivet and corresponding setting tool (optional)

* Handbag zipper is 1 1/4″ (3.2 cm) wide. Can substitute zipper by-the-yard/continuous zipper tape. A metal zipper is not recommended for the main closure.
