This authentic ikat woven fabric is made by a centuries-old process, which involves first dyeing the warp with a dotted design, and then hand weaving that patterned warp with ivory or tan cotton weft yarns. The natural variations in color, pattern and weave are all part of the hand made process and add to its artisanal, one-of-a-kind appearance. The smaller scale of this design is great for blending with statement fabrics, textures and plains, and creates an accent of color for upholstery, pillows, curtains and a variety of decorative applications.
