Message Mug Rugs: A great way to send a message to a friend! Or, leave off the lettering and make them for yourself!
These are quick and fun to make. Each one takes less than an hour, and they are 100% made in the hoop. What friend or family member wouldnt want to receive one of these cute critters?

Fabric for Penguin:
5.5 x 7 white fabric, & 5.5 x 7 blue fabric for backing
5.5 x 7 organza for snow (optional)
Two 5.5 x 8 backing pieces
5.5 x 7 batting

Fabric for all other mug rugs:
5.5 x 7 background fabric
Two 5.5 x 8 backing pieces
5.5 x 7 batting
Scraps for applique — hedgehog body & outer fur, the dog, the pumpkin, and the blanket leaf

Notions for all mug rugs:
No Show mesh stabilizer
Painters tape for applique
Embroidery thread

Requires a 5.5 x 7 stitch field.
