Irish Shamrock Handmade Ceramic Heart Ornament

A shamrock is a type of clover, used as a symbol of Ireland. Saint Patrick, one of Irelands patron saints, is said to have used it as a metaphor for the Christian Holy Trinity. The name shamrock comes from Irish seamrg, which is the diminutive of the Irish word seamair and simply means young clover

Each heart measures 7.5cm x 6.5cm (3in x 2.5in). Every piece is made by hand in the Broadlands Pottery workshop in Gloucestershire where we make, bisque fire, glaze and kiln fire each item, the process takes approximately 10 working days.
