A palette of heavenly seascape hues, redolent of gazing at the open expanse of the horizon where the sky meets the sea is woven finely throughout this exquisite fabric. Sky blue, navy, mist grey, cloud white and natural cream are woven in blocks of, finely graded horizontal stripes, through a subtle lustrous twill weave.

Properties:

This totally ‘dreamy in look’ and certainly ‘in feel’ lambswool woven fabric panel is reversible and has the feel of a lightweight fine wool wrap (not as light as pashmina but similar to Escorial wool wraps) the almost silken yarns boast a fine lustre and are non-irritant- perfect for throwing round your shoulders at the beach on a breezy evening.

New Horizons are closely woven, therefore – stable width and lengthwise, seriously soft almost silky, naturally lightly brushed and boast the most sumptuous drape quality. The ‘feature’ horizon bands will be at the bottom of your panel and a larger block of cream above, making it ideal forquick-make throws of the utmost quality, but should you choose to create stylish garments- it has a stable and easy-to-sew hand, perfect for coatigan styles.

Garment Suggestions:

Ruana style wraps and capes, ponchos, coatigans and waterfall front cardigans, shackets, overshirts and worker jackets. Make a feature of the stripes at hemlines and use the scraps for pockets etc.

Other Uses:

Create the easiest throws, hem, trim – whatever you choose and voila! the perfect gift. Also ideal for simple envelope-style cushions, wrap sew and add a couple of chunky buttons and they are good to go.
