Quite literally a spin off, pardon the pun.
Wool weaving lesson #1: every fabric must have a warp (length ways yarn) and a weft (edge-edge / width yarn). The warp is always one continuous run of yarns, as its on the length. The warp is the same throughout all the Birdseye Spin-Offs.
The weft is what determines this fabrics colour detailing, bringing the fabric to life. Combining these yarns (3 warp, 3 weft) creates mesmerising depth within this complex and unique weave. Pale marled grey, charcoal and natural white yarns sit together to form the warp, whereas the weft combination has been tweaked slightly at each run interval with one different yarn, effectively producing an accent colour giving the fabric its own individuality and spin-off, in a collection of very similar fabrics. The quality is all in the detail.
